Yad Vashem Exhibit
* Yad Vashem's presentation of the BESA Project drew large crowds, much media and rave reviews: "This is a remarkable display in several respects.

government and the population served in the salvation of the Jews. Many,
if not all, were heavily influenced in their decision by Islam. Norman
has captured this story in his photographs, and his ability to take
pictures of the shining personality of the subjects photographed. This story,
so human, told through these sensitive portraits, combine to highlight
this aspect of the Holocaust so little known but very noticeable. "... Yehudit Shendar, curator of the exhibit. Read more
